I've been toying with the idea of using a 55lb thrust saltwater trolling motor on a 12' aluminum v hull boat to launch at Chapman's Landing in Stratham out to Great Bay. I'm wondering if this motor would be powerful enough to get me in and out of this area as a means of primary propulsion. Maybe someone can provide some info for me? Thanks, Rob

A 55lb thrust motor should move that boat pretty well, but I'm not familiar with that area so I can't say for sure. One thing I can say is,,, backup battery.
