Default 4th Cliff/Hummarock

I just moved to Scituate and was looking for some good surf casting spots and figured this would be a good spot right at the mouth of the North River. Does anyone fish there, meaning is it worth my time to check out? I am not looking for spots just a general idea. What is the deal with 4th Cliff I know its a Air Force recreation area but are they will to let you fish down around the base of the cliff. If anyone does fish there and wants to employ the buddy system let me know.

You are allowed to fish around 4th cliff, there is some parking at the tip of the cliff. That's where I caught my first striper!

I hate sharing my spots since parking is always limited,

I'm hoping to get my boat launched next weekend and still have hopes my sister's friend is still going to allow me to use one of their mooring buoys but if not, not bad to only have to tow about a mile to launch. I don't know many people in the area, I'm looking to find a local group of fellow diehards since fishing with some people is always better than by yourself, it solves a lot of issues such as patience for slow hours with no action, an excuse to bring some beers or other beverages, and competition, plus someone to take the picture that verifies you did just land a 40lber. I'll post when I'm all set for launching, let me know if you want to catch a couple fish.
