Need advice for Cordell Hull
My goal is to fish every tail race on the TVA system. I have a very good start with Wheeler, Wilson, Kentucky, and Pickwick under my belt. Caught Striper's at each place. I have started to fish below Cordell Hull. While my Striper experience is 90 percent from Pickwick I am finding it is a lot different at Cordell Hull. I have caught some small ones there and have had 4 big ones on and I have to tell you from landing a 35 pounder these fish were big. I am told by many that the average Striper below Cordell Hull is 20 pounds and at Pickwick is 12 pounds. I have caught many 12 pounders at Pickwick so I have to believe what these people are telling me....and I have read of similar findings. I have received a lot of good info from the people I have seen fishing up at Cordell Hull but thought I would post here and see if anyone could give me some advice. I have no boat and only fish from the bank and use lures....no live bait.
