Mid Hudson Bait ?
Brand new to the board and the Hudson Striper scene. Looking forward to next spring and getting my 18' Lund Fisherman in on the action. Any good advice on tackle/bait shops to buy bunker and herring in the the Kingson area? Thanks. Looking forward to seeing some of you on the crick. Boat name = Minimum Bid on Ch. 68

Thanks baitrunner. I have a daughter and family in the Boston area and hope to get into some salty stripers one day. Look forward to your help.

Check out the link in this thread. Tackle shop directory

Maybe you'll find something helpful there. I don't have any first hand knowledge of tackle shops in your area,, but I'm sure that some of the other guys who do will pipe up soon. Pretty much any decent tackle shop near the salt should have bunker & herring. Good luck,,, they're headed your way!

Haha. Say hi to my worthless brother in law for me. j/k Hope the link helped. I saw this morning that Jim posted up a whole list of Hudson River bait shops on there,, so one of them ought to meet your needs perfectly.

Is there any herring around the Piermont Nyack Beach area? If not, when should we start seeing them again?
