2009 msba expo this weekend - worth it?

I've never been to it. Is it worth the ride?

If you have never been to one then the answer is yes. They are all worth going to just to meet up with friends. - Its Mostly venders promoting and demonstrating new products. But you also may meet like minded people and you can attend a seminar or two with a veteran fisherman as the speaker whom you may even pick up a tip or two about technique . You wont know until you go. Expect the parking lot to be filled and a mall feel to the atmosphere. The MSBA and is a well run and long standing organization that knows stripers - the fishery - the fishermen and the history of the fishery. As does the sponsor OTW magazine. It can be cool, it can be tiring and drudgery. Its all a matter of expectations, attitude and perspective.
But i would go to at least one of these expos if for nothing else just to see the vendors the new products, the fly tying guys, (the plug builders if any there) the names and the people.

Enjoy it if you do go.

I'll be there.. Some great Vendors will be there. And plenty of familiar faces. I haven't been to this paticular expo,,But there always a good time. Till you leave and you say "[email protected]#$IN SNOW".
Also Plenty of Great Plug builders will be there.
