True.
I have fished for Blues on a party boat, and although it wasnt too bad (cuz there was actually a big blitz of Blues at one spot), it was a bit much to have so many people with lines in the water. Even worse, you didnt have any presentation options other than the chunk herring they provided.
I'll see how it goes. I'd like to do a Stripers247 group thing, but as I mentioned, most if not all of the people I could get to pitch in and come along , wouldnt be as interested if it werent a Striper and/or Bluefish outing.

We should also consiter other boats...
just for possiblities...
like Eastman's out of Seabrook or Algauron out of Hampton...
Eastmans, for a weekend in June is $1100...comes to like $27.50 per person w/ 40 people...
I'll get a price from Algauron
...and see if they'll go all-day for stripers...

The way I look at it is, I fish fer stripers and blues all year long, if I have an oppertunity to fish for somthing else, or go to someplace different, like Jefferys ledge, I would rather do that. But I don't really care what we decide to do, I think the whole idea is that we get together as a group, no mattah what we fish for. We just need to figure out what our best options are and go with em.

I talked to Eastmans in Seabrook, Nh...
Right now they have Saturday July 2nd and Sunday July 3rd open...
They're are waiting for the parties who have priority from last year...their down payment is due March 1st so I assume things will open up after people dont pay...
The woman told me..."If you wanna go for Stripers all day...its your trip"
It doesn't seem like they have alot of requests for all day Stripers...if we wanted we could...
The costs are for July and August:
$1300 for the boat...that relates to about $32.50 each...
Its cheaper in June and even cheaper in April and May

I'm gonna put my .02 in here, delete it if you dont like it.
with those dates open, your better off on a groundfish charter, there's not likely to be many(if any) bluefish that early in the season and stripers on the oceanfront is a iffy proposistion,I'm not saying you cant catch any, some years large pods stay under the mac's, but that is not the norm,if you want dependable fishing go for groundfish,I've been plying those water over 35 years and have seen it all, just would hate to see hard earned money thrown away. my .02

Ya I agree...
Maybe we should just wait until the Bluefish move in...and do like a half day...

The other option...
To avoid leaving someone with the financial burden if people cancel...we could just all agree to go out on a specific day...we could just all make reservations separately and meet on the boat...
...That would also give us more options in terms of dates...technically, we could go any weekend we would like...

I think to simplify this whole thing...
We should choose a date...and just all make reservations on a ticketed trip...
...then no one is left with massive debt...and it doesn't matter how many people go or don't go...
I say a date in late May early June...Stripes and Macks...
I'll try to put up possible dates...
...Any thoughts...???????

Let's see 39 Yankees on one boat, all with lines in the water on both sides, Jeffy NASCAR coolers, and beer. Hell I might go and pay the 40 bucks to see that! I have friends that might come up for that?
:D :D :D
