Stripers247 Party Boat outing '05
Ok, it's got it's own thread now. Anyone who wants to join, just say so. We'll settle on a date as we more people sign up.
I say we go on an all day fishing trip for Stripers on the Atlantic Queen...

All Day
Weekends: $1400 up to 40 persons, $35 each additional
Weekday Special: $1400, fishing rods included

if we can get enough peple to make it a resonable price per person (under $50) I'm in. Whoever is gonna spearhead this effort needs o collect a $25 non refundable deposit from all people who want to go. That way when they back out the rest of us won't be stuck with the full difference to make up. If we limit it to the first 40 people that will make it $35 per person and we won't be falling all over each other.

Jonny...I've been out with them before...Macks, Cod and Blues...
They do a great job.... :)
I personally can get at least 5 or 10 people...
Heres the breakdown...(for all day)
20 ppl total=$70 each
30 ppl total=$46 each
40 ppl total=$35 each (max people they allow on the boat)
Im willing to organize this...I was thinking June or July...
...what I'll do is keep a running list so if you're sure you can go, post with your name and how many you will bring with you, not counting other Stripers247 members...(e.g. "BostonBoy + 1") and every once and a while I'll post my master list...
We'll talk money closer to the trip
This sounds like tons of fun :) I hope we can get a bunch of people...and I look foward to meeting you all :)

Sounds sweet! I'll pay. Thats the same boat we went on in 7th grade for a whale watch, and the whole grade was a bunch of landlubbers and got sick RIGHT when we got to jeffrey's ledge, so we turned back without seeing any whales. :?

That sucks...I went with my school, in the Gulf of Maine...
Totally boring...I would have rather been fishin' :D
...try to get some friends to go, then the price goes down...significantly...

Im gonna call (if they're open in the off season...they might be on limited hours...)

I like the enthusiasm, but try no to blow this thread out. It will be easier to gather and list the names of those who post interest if we dont have to go through 152 "chat posts".

Strictly business...
I called the Atlantic Fleet...left a message...hopefully they'll be getting back to me soon...
It seems like they only run all day trips in early spring...but Im sure if we put up they money, they'll be willing to accomadate our needs...
It also seems like they specialize in cod on the all day trips...and bass and blues on the half-day trips...but once again, I think that if we put up the money they'll be willing to accomadate our needs...
I'll let you know when they get back to me... :D

I think for a private charter, they would go out anytime. I wouldn't mind doing an all day trip in the spring, sun isn't as bad. Hit jefferys ledge and fish fer cod and haddock.

I wouldnt know how to fish for stripers from partyboat... :shock:
but I will definately ask if stripers is a possiblity...
...after all, we are STRIPERS247.com
...I wouldn't mind cod either, or makcs for that matter...we'll see :D

If aint for Stripers, I aint paying 40 some-odd bux to head out. I dont think anyone I would bring will either.
Stripers or bust.
Well, Stripers and Blues would be acceptable
