Fished Roanoke Rapids / Weldon/ Big Rock area on 3/28-3/30. No stripers yet. The hickory shad were plentiful so the stripers should be on their way. People were pulling shad out of the aquaduct by hand. I got a bunch on Crazy Charlie's flyfising , and also spinning rod with 1/8 oz jig with 2" white/pink grub and shad rig ( dart with trailing spoon). Shad are fun but let me know when and where the Rock fish are on the Roanoke. Thanks.
