Did you catch 17 keepers or 173? I've been hitting the harbor at night hard lately, had good luck early on (averaged about 3 keepers a trip), but last week was slow. Haven't been out this week yet. What tide do you hit them on? I've had the best luck on the outgoing. Am doing alot of experimenting this season, trying to find new spots.

the way I read it is.. he caught 17 fish... 3 of which were "keepers"
Where's that pic your buddy was sending you Roc.....I know you got one better than the one of that nice fish being released. Not that that wasn't a nice pic but still waiting on the cow........

So I had 3 of my buddies with me and caught 17 fish . 3 keepers all around 32inches. Caught all of them on light colored rubber shads. All off Governers Flats. I'm not to good with locating the big ones. And location I should look for on the chart. Going out tomorrow leaving around 8am (outgoing tide) same as yesterday. I was in the Coast Guard in Alaska and new what to look for on the chart for halibut but not so much with stripers. Can u help me out?
