Default New to the harbor

Hello All,

I just started fishing the harbor this week, and I am completely addicted!!
Have spent alot of time fishing Joppa Flatts with my buddy, but live in Newton and have a little skiff.

This week, hit the harbor midday at high tide, fished to low. Trolled tube and worm slowly. Monday got 1 keeper and 1 shorty, Wednesday got 2 keepers and 3 shorties. Biggest fish was 38".

Well, now that I am addicted, I will be fishing as much as possible and keeping everyone posted.

Well guys, have fished the harbor 5 of the last 8 days. Caught a keeper on every trip. 12 fish, 7 keepers, over 34". Been doing most my fishing during the day, tube and worm.

Will keep you posted.

Man I'm jealous I'd love to get out more then my once a week if that. If you can the place really gets good just after the sun starts setting an with all this heat it'll turn into mote of a consistent night bite. Eels and sluggos at night always treat you right.

I use white a ton even at night but big black used real slow is deadly. Don't be afraid to throw a teaser out now too. Something that resembles silver sides as there are a bunch around of late.
