Appreciate the update, Yaz, I saw your rig on ISBA, nice rig, and from LC's comment, you've really done some renovating there!
Let me know as soon as you think it's go, so I can clear it w/Kathy and schedule.
God bless,
LMJ
They are swimming with the bleugills because that is how stripers/wiper operate. They follow the bait fish around and let them get comfortable with them being there. Then the wipers will get hungry and go on a feeding frenzy. Later you'll see them peacefully swimming along with the bait again.
Panfish knows his wipers. In the bigger Southern lakes it is common to see wipers peacefully hanging in close proximity to shad. They just hang until they get hungry, then the rampage. If you're lucky, you're sitting there when they churn the surface.

I see you have one of those "Planner/schedulers" also!!! Just so happens that my "planner/scheduler" is going to be about 20 miles from Lake Cumberland for a family wedding that weekend. I told her I'd go, if I could pull the boat, or hitch a ride with my guide buddy on the lake that weekend. I was told if I go....I'd be attending the wedding. I took that as I have a choice of going to a wedding in Kentucky, or staying home and going fishing. Therefore, I have a hall pass for the weekend..providing the farming doesn't get in the way.
