I couldnt stop reading his articles of the month.
The December christmas story was very touching to me. His writing style is awesome.
Thanks for the heads up.

Rider, I am sure there is a time and place for all baits but generally use T&W in the day time and Eels after dark, Both trolled with lead core are a killer combo.

Yes I know of him
I know of him because I grew up in Fall River, MA and use to read his fishing reports in the newspaper. I have also read a few things by him on web and print and I always walk away with something new... kinda like here :) I was looking for his book at the show but didn't see anyone with it so I'm going to order it... my son and I just read a book reviewed by On the Water Magazine.. I can't remember the name but it was Striper Something lol... real good read

My wife was very disappointed that charlie wasn't at The Fisherman Magazine stand at the show, he is a sweet talker and chicks dig that.
I am working in swansea the last couple of weeks.

Im getting the book :D Hopfully I,ll get it and have it read by the start of trophy season (april 16). I plan on running one tube and worm rig with my trolling spread. I got to find out how well it works on the chesapeake, I got a feeling its going to work good

Zam...be carefull when trolling the tube with other lures...sometimes other lures with require faster speeds, which will kill the action of the tube...
For me its either all tubes or no tubes...I either go REALLY slow with a couple tubes in the spread...or faster with normal trolling lures in the spread...
I've seen charters fish tubes while trolling wire, and they never catch anything...because they have to go at a moderate pace for the wire, which makes the tubes useless...
...Just be aware of your speed with tubes...

I usually go from 2-3 knots when Im trolling, depending on the current. thats as slow as my boat will go. most of my rods are braid, and I have one mono rod for the way back line. which would be better mono or braid?
