Got some news today. The NOAA says we are going to have another warm winter. I'll be pissed. I've got some new gear from last year I havn't even broken in yet.

I fished every weekend and quite a few days inbetween last season From january 1 to march 1 dispite the warm winter..

You southern fellas are always more than welcome to come ice fishing here in the land of The Way Life Should Be. We had good ice as early as mid December and it lasted through most of March if memory serves me correctly. A couple times things got a little dicey, had to walk on the pond/lake from a different spot, but other than that it was a good season. I am making it a point to get up to Sabattus this year and get me one of those monster Pike I keep hearing about..........no excuses this year, it's HAPPENIN!!!!!

Last season we did most of our fishing in the lakes reigion of new hampshire... plenty of ice in the mountains..

If it wasn't for the drive and the cost of a license. We thought about it.
