My name comes from a bumpersticker given to me by an old driller that i worked with for a while. after work the first night, he said here, handed me a bumper sticker that said "DRILL TRASH - sonic drillers do it dry" I now run my own rig, therefore i am DRILLTRASH.

moby dick, i like the first paragraph:

"Call me Ishmael. ... Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off - then, I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can. ... If they but knew it, almost all men in their degree, some time or other, cherish very nearly the same feelings towards the ocean with me."

I fished tub trawls commercially for many years. This is also known as longlining. It fits.

My screen name seems to need no explanation, hell we're on a fishing forum. But here's the twist... it was I who "GotHooked" into the sport of striper fishing this season and not so much the snaring of our prestigious adversaries we stalk through the long hours.

Foghat - Slow ride....take it eassssssssssayyyyyyy!...Great Song

For me, Long Run Fishing....the name of my charter company which sails out of New Rochelle, Ny and I am now out of Pt. Pleasant NJ for the Fall/Winter run...Long Run is what I like when my clients are fishing, letting that reel sing on a "Long Run" with a bent rod....
